Ronda Rousey To Leave WWE After WrestleMania 35

Ronda Rousey To Leave WWE After WrestleMania 35

Ronda Rousey debuted for WWE at the 2018 Royal Rumble and has since become arguably the biggest star on the main roster.

Surprising everyone with her skill inside the ring, she has made the Raw Women’s roster feel more special, and her feuds with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have been utterly fascinating.

But could it all be over come April? The Wrestling Observer Newsletter writes that the current plan is for Ronda to have her final match of her WWE run at WrestleMania 35 when she will face either Becky Lynch in a singles match or both Becky and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat.

“There is a very good chance that Ronda Rousey will be finishing up with WWE at WrestleMania.

“If that’s the case, she would likely put Becky Lynch over more likely then Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, given that would be what the fans would want.

“There was a decent amount of talk this past week internally, since we heard it from several people, that Rousey would finish up at WrestleMania.”

Dave Meltzer noted that Ronda has always talked about WWE as a temporary thing due to the fact that she wants to start a family and live on her farm with her husband.

Putting over Becky on her way out would be an incredible move by Rousey, but you wouldn’t think WWE are going to let go of her easily. If we’ve learned anything from the way they’ve handled Brock Lesnar, we know they don’t like letting go of their big UFC stars.

Ronda’s next match is this Sunday at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, when she will take on Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship.
