The Royal Rumble is the one night of the year that Raw and SmackDown superstars go head to head in…oh wait that’s Survivor Series.
It is in fact the one night of the year that fans get to count down from ten and make buzzer noises while hoping for surprise entrants to appear at the top of the ramp.
According to WrestleVotes, a Twitter account with an excellent record for backstage tips, we could see at least three surprise entrants in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
On the way to PHX for the Rumble! A few names I keep hearing about showing up on Sunday as surprises: Kurt Angle, Bray Wyatt & Velveteen Dream. Nothing set, but those names have been coming up in conversations for the past few weeks. We shall see.

Kurt Angle hasn’t been seen on WWE TV in 2019, but is a likely name to take part as WWE enjoys throwing the odd legend into the mix.
Bray Wyatt hasn’t been seen since the summer, as has been rumoured to be returning in a new gimmick for months.
Velveteen Dream isn’t on the card for NXT TakeOver: Phoenix, so would be fresh should WWE make the call to put him in the match. He would certainly be a very popular choice should he debut.
