With Vince McMahon having sent Keith Lee to be part of a group doing extra training at the Performance Center, what does he actually think of the big man?
Given that Lee is considered to be a great in-ring worker by most people, his inclusion in the contingent – which also includes Otis, Dabba-Kato, MACE and Omos – was critcised by fans, and fellow wrestlers were said to be “baffled” by it too.
According to Ringside News – which has been accurate with its backstage reports – McMahon just “doesn’t see it” with Lee. And a lot of this decision seems to have something to do with Kevin Dunn and Bruce Prichard.
The site was told: “We’re not in front of a live crowd, so Vince can only go by what he feels. Or what Kevin Dunn says on headsets”.
RSN also reported that Bruce Prichard “buried” the way NXT trains talent to McMahon. Dunn and Prichard are two of the very few names backstage that Vince McMahon will actually listen to and take serious advice from.
Lee and the other talents mentioned earlier are currently doing regular extra training at the PC under Adam Pearce and Drew Gulak.
