Sami Zayn is one name on a long list of WWE absentees due to injury at the moment, with Natalya and Braun Strowman among the recent additions to an ever-growing list.
Based on a picture he posted to Instagram showing two massive ice packs strapped to his shoulders, Zayn remains some ways from making a full recovery.

Zayn has been out of action since mid-2018 with two torn rotator cuffs (that’s one in each shoulder) and has undergone several surgeries since then, most recently bilateral shoulder surgery to repair the damaged body part.
Zayn is not expected to return for several months, with an expected return date currently unknown at this stage.
