More matches have been added to Friday’s (April 7) edition of WWE SmackDown, following WrestleMania 39 this past weekend.
WWE has now confirmed that that Sami Zayn will go one-on-one with Jey Uso on Friday’s show.
Sami and Jey’s relationship was the focal point of the WWE Tag Team Championship rivalry ahead of WrestleMania.
In the main event of the April 1 WrestleMania 39 Saturday show, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated The Usos to win the gold, with Sami dropping Jey with three Helluva kicks to secure the victory.
Also announced for the episode is a huge six-man tag bout, with the Brawling Brutes slated to clash with Imperium.
This comes after GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Title defence over Sheamus and Drew McIntyre on WrestleMania 39 Sunday.
Friday’s episode will also feature a segment involving Triple H, who is set to ‘address the WWE universe’.
Here’s the announced card for the show:
– Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar vs. Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio
– Sami Zayn vs Jey Uso
– Sheamus, Ridge Holland & Butch vs GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci
– Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar vs. Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio
