The backstage drama in AEW is the primary talking point in the wrestling world right now, with CM Punk, Ace Steel and the Elite’s backstage fight at the AEW All Out media scrum leading to all involved parties being suspended, and the AEW World and Trios Championships being vacated.
Prior to the Elite and Punk drama, Eddie Kingston was also suspended for two weeks due to a conflict with Sammy Guevara, leading to their planned match at All Out being scrapped, with Kingston instead facing Tomohiro Ishii and Sammy teaming with Tay Melo to face Ruby Soho and Ortiz for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship.
Sammy addressed the incident with Kingston on a recent vlog, and apparently he has even more to say. Sammy took to his Twitter today, teasing that he has ‘kept his mouth shut’ for 3 years, and that he has some ‘s**t to say’.
He said:
I’ve got some s**t to say. I’ve kept my mouth shut for 3 years. Enough. See you on tomorrows Vlog
Guevara is set to face Jon Moxley in a semi-final match of the AEW World Championship Tournament of Champions on this week’s AEW Dynamite show, defeating Darby Allin on last week’s Rampage to advance.
