Samoa Joe has taken to Twitter to announce he has vacated the NXT Championship.
In a video on Twitter, Joe said he has been told to take time away from the ring due to injuries.
This comes just days ahead of the revamped NXT which kicks off this coming Tuesday.
Joe had won the title from Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver 36 on August 22 in his first match since February 2020.
