Sasha Banks: ‘It’s So Cool To See Women Do It Better Than The Guys’

There is no question that women’s wrestling has taken a huge step forward in WWE over the last five years. Not only in terms of quality of matches, but also in their presentation by the company. Among the women at the forefront of this change has been Sasha Banks.

Banks recently had her long-awaited rivalry with Bayley finally come to a head. Their match at Hell in a Cell drew rave reviews and now she has commented on the response from the fans and how cool it is to see women put on better matches than the men. Here is the quote from her interview with Digital Spy:

“For for any new fan watching, especially women, I think it’s so cool to see women do it better than the guys.

For my match to be so well-received and for fans to say that I had the match of the night… it’s just incredible to be a part of this Women’s Evolution where just non-stop fans talk about the women and how incredible that we do.”

Sasha Banks was able to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Hell in a Cell. Her match with Bayley was very creative, involving a number of spots being done for the first time. She was also able to follow up this performance with a successful title defense on SmackDown.
