Scrapped Angle For The End Of WrestleMania Revealed

Scrapped Angle For The End Of WrestleMania Revealed

Becky Lynch walked out of the historic main event of WrestleMania 35 as both the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champion. However, the ending of the match felt flat. There are conflicting reports about the finish of the match. Some have said that end of the historic bout ‘went as planned’, whilst others are reporting it was botched.

Dave Meltzer stated in the Wrestling Observer Radio, that an angle was supposed to be played out after the match, but was scrapped due to the fact that the show was already running considerably over time.

He reports that after the match, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch were supposed to confront one another, with Flair being livid that she lost her title without being pinned or submitted. However, he notes that this was cut as the show was running late and hey wanted to have Becky end the show celebrating with her two titles.
