Seth Rollins is at it again and seems intent on making himself the least popular man in wrestling.
Last week he tried to defend the finish to his abysmal Hell in a Cell match with The Fiend, and now he’s insulting AEW and former IWGP Heavweight Champion Kenny Omega.
Speaking at the Fandemic Tour in Houston, Rollins was asked whether he would like to have a match with Kenny Omega one day.
“When Kenny is done playing in the minor leagues over there, Kenny can come work in the absolute top professional wrestling company in the world in front of the most people, make the most money, and have the biggest matches, which is with me at WrestleMania.”
He’s at it again showing off his bank balance, which is something that people find really endearing and likeable.
To be fair, it’s not as though Omega hasn’t thrown his own punches, recently saying NXT was full of “developmental talent” that wouldn’t even feature on a show he main evented.
It’s not as if Rollins doesn’t think Omega is any good either, saying in January that he wants to face him because he wants to “test himself against the absolute best.”
Either way, this won’t get Rollins any more fans, something he is in dire need of right now.
