With NXT set to host it’s third annual Halloween Havoc event tomorrow night (October 22), the NXT brand looks ahead to the next premium live event.
It was reported by Fightful that there had been talk of the next NXT PLE taking place on December 10, which would be the same date as the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view.
WWE also filed to trademark the term ‘NXT Deadline’ earlier this week, which many speculated could be the name of the upcoming NXT event in December.
Shawn Michaels recently spoke on the conference call ahead of NXT Halloween Havoc, where he confirmed that the next NXT event will be named ‘NXT Deadline’, and will take place on December 10, 2022.
Tomorrow’s NXT show is set to be hosted by SmackDown star Shotzi and NXT star Quincy Elliott, and features three big championship matches, as well as three non-title grudge matches.
NXT previously ran Worlds Collide on the same day as AEW All Out, with the show starting at 3pm EST to avoid a conflict. I has not yet been announced if Deadline and Final Battle will be a similar situation, or if they will be on air up against each other.
