Rumors are doing the rounds that we could be in for a shock title change on this coming Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
As noted by Cageside Seats, there has been speculation that Santana & Ortiz could actually beat the Young Bucks for the Tag Team Championship on the upcoming show.
The thinking behind the theory is that it would lead to Santana & Ortiz defending against Chris Jericho & MJF at Revolution, which would serve to add to the ongoing conflict within the Inner Circle.
It could also lead to some advancement in the relationship between the Bucks and IMPACT World Tag Team Champions the Good Brothers.
It’s important to note that this is not a report saying that a title change is happening or even likely, but we’re just passing along the speculation.
Speaking of the Inner Circle, there is reportedly legitimate heat on Sammy Guevara from AEW management for potentially damaging the promotion’s relationship with IMPACT.
Also announced for this coming Wednesday’s Dynamite is a six-man tag with Eddie Kingston, The Butcher & The Blade against Jon Moxley, Lance Archer & Rey Fenix.
