SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan first arrived on the WWE main roster in the fall of 2017, when her, Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott became the ‘Riott Squad’ on SmackDown.
Five years later, Morgan is the only member of the crew that remains in WWE, and she just captured her first SmackDown Women’s Championship back at Money In The Bank.
Morgan is set to defend her title against Shayna Baszler at Clash at the Castle, and she goes into the match with an injured arm, though the injury is kayfabe.
Liv and Shotzi got into a war of words on Twitter last night, with Shotzi mocking Morgan’s injury. She said:
mY aRm mAy NoT bE 1o0% yet BuT iM ReeedY f0r SHAYNA stop the act you’re not hurt @YaOnlyLivvOnce
Liv responded to Shotzi’s claim, seemingly setting up a feature clash between the two, saying:
Hahahahahaha Shotzi if u wanted to wrestle, all u had to do was ask silly I think my arm may just be feeling good enough to kick ur gorgeous goblin . I’ll see u tomorrow
Liv and Shotzi continued to throw jabs at each other, resulting in Shotzi joking about Liv ‘getting Ruby (Soho) fired’.
She said:
Is this what you read after you got ruby fired? Look at @YaOnlyLivvOnce trying to collect green haired tattooed girls to run over! Not me babe! I do the running over!
Liv then expressed that Ruby is the ‘superior green-haired tattooed girl’, sharing a photo of Ruby from their days in WWE.
Ruby was released from WWE back in June 2021, and now competes for AEW as Ruby Soho.
