WWE Star Sonya Deville has recently opened up about her desire to someday have children, saying that for now, it is “TBD”.
Speaking during an appearance on the Heal Squad x Maria Menounos podcast, Deville and her fiancée – fitness model Toni Cassano – revealed the conversations the pair have had on the topic, stating that it’s not something in their immediate plans, partly due to the connection they have with two daughters from Cassano’s previous relationship.
Deville said:
“It’s always something I have wanted, yes, in recent years.
“But the Catch-22 is the fulfillment I get from being a parent to the two that we do have is so gratifying.
“It really fills me up.
“It was the fourth quarter. It was the last thing that I needed and gives me so much happiness and pure joy. I think I could go either way with it.”
While caring for Cassano’s two daughters is more than enough for Deville at this point, she wouldn’t rule out them adding more to the family in the future, saying:
“I think what it comes down to is how the next few years of our life plays out.
“Is there drastic changes that are unforeseen that we don’t know about yet, that turn us one way or the other way?
“I don’t know. And so, right now, the four of us, our unit, comes first.
“We’ll see what happens.”
On WWE programming, Deville has found a successful partnership with Chelsea Green, a star that she appeared on Tough Enough with in 2015.
Both Green and Deville will surely be keeping an eye on this week’s Smackdown where a tag title unification match is set to take place.
The match will see NXT Women’s Tag Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn take on WWE Women’s Tag Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler with the two divisions seemingly united under one banner going forward.
Last week’s SmackDown once again saw massive success in viewership figures off the back of Jey Uso’s shocking Bloodline decision – to find out more click this link.
