Here is the newest update regarding the ongoing case involving WWE star Sonya Deville and the alleged attempted kidnapping of her in August.
The accused Phillip Thomas had a virtual hearing on October 12. He has a court appearance on December 15 regarding charges of Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Armed Kidnapping for Ransom or Reward or Hostage, and Criminal Mischief for Less Than $200. He must attend this in person.
Wrestling Inc reports that Thomas submitted Deville’s address as his own to the authorities, which has led to mail intended for him being posted to Deville’s home. The Hillsborough County Jail is said to have corrected the address in its system but the courts still have it listed as Deville’s.
Thomas also has a court appearance on November 12 relating to the injunction Deville has filed against him.
Sonya Deville lost a ‘loser leaves WWE’ match to Mandy Rose – her real life best friend who was with her when the alleged incident occured – at SummerSlam in August, in order to take time away from the company and deal with this situation.
