A spoiler has emerged on plans for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 38.
Per PWInsider, Carmella & Zelina Vega (Queen Zelina) vs Sasha Banks & Naomi is officially slated for the April 2-3 event.
Banks & Naomi expressed a desire to challenge for the title on last week’s episode of SmackDown. The duo previously teamed together alongside Tamina as Team B.A.D in 2015.
Carmella & Zelina Vega defeated Rhea Ripley & Nikki ASH for the championship on the November 22, 2021 episode of Raw. The team last defended the gold on January 3.
It is currently unknown which night the match is slated for. WWE has officially announced that Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Title will both take place on WrestleMania Saturday (April 2).
