Tay Conti Vs. Santana Garrett Added To Tonight’s AEW Rampage ‘Buy-In’

Prior to tonight’s AEW Rampage, a ‘Buy-In’ pre-show will air on YouTube at 9pm ET, an hour before the show actually starts on TNT.

A new match has now been added to the card for the ‘Buy-In’, with Tay Conti taking on Santana Garrett.

In a rather interesting side note considering how big tonight’s Rampage vs SmackDown battle is, when Tay Conti vs Santana Garrett happened in NXT, it was the first time NXT beat AEW in a single quarter-hour in the ratings.

And let’s face it, with that point in mind, it’s probably not a coincidence that AEW decided to put this match on tonight of all nights.

Conti has been positioned as one of the top women in the promotion, whereas Garrett has only had one AEW match so far which was at the latest Dark tapings in a loss to Diamante.

The card for the ‘Buy-In’ now looks like this:

• Tay Conti vs. Santana Garrett
• Bobby Fish vs. Lee Moriarty
• Bryan Danielson vs. Minoru Suzuki

And the card for Rampage is:

• CM Punk vs. Matt Sydal
• Ruby Soho vs. The Bunny
• Junior Dos Santos & Men of the Year vs. Chris Jericho, Jake Hager & Sammy Guevara
