WWE’s The OC has shared a video teasing their appearance at NJPW in December.
Karl Anderson shared a video on Instagram on November 22 announcing that the Good Brothers (Gallows & Anderson) will be in Japan for the World Tag League/Super Junior Tag League finals on December 14.
Anderson will be defending his NEVER Openweight Championship, which he won in June at NJPW Dominion after defeating Tama Tonga.
He was originally scheduled to defend the title against Hikuleo at NJPW Battle Autumn on November 5.
In a turn of events, this match was pulled as The OC made their surprise return during the October 10 edition of Raw where they reunited with AJ Styles.
The Battle Autumn event clashed with WWE’s Crown Jewel, which Anderson was also booked for.
Initially, NJPW stated that Karl Anderson would be stripped of the NEVER Openweight Championship if he was a no-show.
A replacement match was later announced for Hikuleo, with Anderson containing to hold the title. Karl Anderson recently explained his point of view on the double-booked situation. You can read more about this right here.
In the caption posted with the video, Anderson said:
“Message regarding the #NeverOpenweightChampionship from a full-blown #WWEGuy as the greatest never champion of all time.
😘 See ya December 14 🇯🇵”
