According to The Wrestling Observer, The Rock will be making an announcement related to the UFC on Friday. No, he’s not announcing he’s stepping into the cage as a fighter. At least, that’s not expected at this point.
The Rock is, however, appearing to crown the winner of Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal the “BMF Champion.” BMF stands for the Baddest Mother F***er.”

The Rock has confirmed he will be at a UFC media event on Friday. Whatever the announcement is, he wants to “tell UFC fans and MMA community first.”
At the end of an Instagram chat with Dana White, he said he will make the announcement Friday at a UFC press conference. UFC hasn’t formally announced a time or location.
The Wrestling Observer is speculating this could have something to do with an event called Athleticon. Rock is a client of the company that owns UFC.
Doing all I can to make this fight. If I can and you win, I’ll put the belt around your waist at MSG – consider it done. Already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in @ufc history. Can’t wait. @GamebredFighter @NateDiaz209 #respect #BMF #UFC244 ⚡️ https://t.co/nVTIeBtkgv

Due to Athleticon being billed as an event that will feature live sporting events, it would make a lot of sense to have some form of a UFC fight at the 3-day event.
However, I’m sure Vince McMahon will not be happy about the fact that Rock has turned to UFC to promote his event and not WWE.
