Thunder Rosa AEW Status Revealed

The current All Elite Wrestling (AEW) status of Thunder Rosa, who won last week’s highly praised unsanctioned match, has been revealed.

As per Fightful Select, Thunder Rosa is under contract with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) through the end of this year.

The NWA had been on a break throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, but now it’s returning, Rosa was at the latest tapings this week.

However, her AEW appearances are still set to continue and she’s at this week’s Dark and Dynamite tapings too now that the NWA ones are wrapped up.

Having won the unsanctioned match over Britt Baker, it’s clear that AEW is keen to position her as one of its top female stars.

She currently has a 7-3 record this year including the unsanctioned match, although AEW won’t be counting that to its own win/loss records.
