On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT’s special episode, NXT Heatwave there has already been a title change.
There was a Heritage Cup Championship match between Noam Dar and Nathan Frazer which yielded a new champion.
While the Heritage Cup Championship match featured British round rules, it was in the end Noam Dar who picked up the victory with a 2-1 win in round 6.
Dar had previously been carrying around a fake Heritage Cup trophy, but now he has the real one.
Dar is also now the first ever three-time Heritage Cup Champion.
It was also announced that there’ll be an eight-man ‘NXT Global’ tournament to determine who will challenge Dar for the title at No Mercy.
WWE Heatwave kicked off with Ilja Dragunov facing off against Trick Williams, with the former picking up the win.
