Title Change On WWE Raw

She will definitely be calling a manager about this! There was a big title change on tonight’s WWE Raw in the women’s division.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance have captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw (December 18).

With a vignette airing earlier in the show reminding fans that the pair are real life besties and tag team partners who enjoy raving and wrestling, the party girls have arrived!

Able to beat Chelsea Green and Piper Niven for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship after hitting the ‘After Party’ finisher, there were new WWE champions.

The pair are no strangers to gold, having been NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.

In a backstage segment after the win, the duo met up with Kofi Claus (Kofi Kingston in a Santa Claus outfit) who had warm congratulations, as did Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae.

While everyone who was feeling in a joyful mood walked out of the scene to celebrate, not everyone was so enthusiastic about the new champs.

Less than thrilled however were Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark who were on hand to immediately have an exchange with Natalya and Tegan Nox.

With Natalya noting that since there were new champs, they needed new challengers and Baszler agreed.

This seemed to be setting up a number one contenders match for the future between the two teams.
