Title Change On WWE Royal Rumble Pre-Show

It was announced prior to the show, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match was moved to the pre-show of the Royal Rumble.

Charlotte Flair and Asuka defended their titles against the former champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. Jax and Baszler defeated Flair and Asuka with some help.

During the match, Ric Flair and Lacey Evans made their way down to the ring. Ric Flair handed Evans some kind of foreign object. Evans then punched Charlotte with a loaded fist while Flair had the Figure Eight locked in.

Flair was knocked out. Nia Jax capitalized and hit a massive leg drop. Jax would go on to pin Flair to win the titles.

After the match, Ric Flair and Lacey Evans celebrated on the top of the ramp. Meanwhile, Jax and Baszler celebrated their win in the ring.
