Title Match Announced For Next Week’s WWE Raw

A big title match has been announced for the May 25 episode of WWE Raw during this week’s episode of the show on USA Network.

In a rematch from April 27, Andrade will defend the United States Championship against Apollo Crews.

During that match, Crews suffered a storyline knee injury, which cost him not only the title match but also his spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

He returned on May 18 in emphatic fashion, ambushing Andrade then teaming with Kevin Owens with a win over the US Champion and Angel Garza in a tag team match.

Crews pinned Garza in that match, thanks in part to Austin Theory who accidentally struck Garza, leading to him being ambushed by Garza and Andrade and chucked out of their group. Luckily for Theory, Seth Rollins seemed to see something in him and appears to have welcomed him into his arms as a new disciple.

It was rumoured that Crews could return as a heel, and obviously he could still turn at some point soon, but this would seem to suggest otherwise for now.
