TJP, formerly known as T.J. Perkins, was the winner of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic in 2016 and was crowned the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
This would imply that the technical wrestler would be led in high regard by WWE, but it appears Perkins fell out of favour with company officials, with his departure from the company said to be due to disciplinary issues.
Perkins’ first non-WWE match has been announced, The Wrestling Revolver announced that he will be appearing at their 3 Year Anniversary event on May 10th.

Perkins seems like he will be a busy man now that he is no longer contracted to WWE. Expo Lucha has announced that TJP will be working for them on August 17th and 18th.
