AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has addressed the absence of Brodie Lee from AEW, who hasn’t been seen since the October 7 Dynamite.
On that show, Brodie Lee lost the TNT Championship to Cody Rhodes in a dog collar match, having only won the title from Rhodes on August 13.
Speaking on the AEW media call ahead of the Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite, Khan said:
“I can’t comment on him not being here, but he’s one of our top wrestlers and we’ll be excited to have him with us soon, I hope.”
That’s a rather not-really-an-answer answer, but we’ll keep you updated. It’s possible that he’s just being kept out for storyline reasons or there could be more to it based on Khan’s uncertain response.
