Tony Khan Confirms Discussions Regarding Major Change To AEW Pay-Per-Views AEW

Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling, the company has typically had only four pay-per-views on their calendar.

With the introduction of Forbidden Door, the number of pay-per-views has increased to five, with a sixth set to be featured in the form of AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.

Ahead of the recent media rights deal, Warner Bros Discovery have reportedly discussed a potential expansion of AEW’s pay-per-view calendar, which could see AEW host one pay-per-view a month.

Speaking on the media call ahead of AEW Blood & Guts and ROH Death Before Dishonor, Tony Khan was asked about potentially expanding his PPV schedule.

Khan said that expanding the PPV calendar has been a positive for other companies in the past.

Khan then confirmed that he has talked to WBD about expanding the calendar, saying that everyone thinks it would be a ‘revenue positive’ for the company.

He finished by saying that it is something he has given ‘a lot of consideration’ to.
