Trinity is set for a major match at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary.
In May 2023, Trinity, formerly known as Naomi in WWE, made her debut for IMPACT Wrestling after nearly a year away from pro wrestling after walking out of WWE Raw alongside Sasha Banks.
In her first segment with the company, IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo came out to confront the former SmackDown Women’s Champion after she mentioned her goal to become champion.
At IMPACT Under Siege, Purrazzo defeated Jordynne Grace to retain her title, while Trinity picked up a victory over Gisele Shaw.
On the June 1 edition of IMPACT on AXS TV, Trinity defeated Savannah Evans to continue her undefeated streak in the promotion. She then called out Purrazzo to issue a challenge for the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship at Slammiversary on July 15.
Deonna accepted the challenge before both women were attacked by Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans and Jai Vidal.
It was later revealed that Trinity and Purrazzo will have to co-exist when they team to face Shaw and Evans in tag team action at IMPACT Against All Odds on June 9.
