WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has issued a statement to WWE talent and staff following this week’s Monday Night Raw. (January 15).
Due to serious winter storms, Monday’s edition of Raw from Little Rock, Arkansas was hampered by severe travel issues and late minute changes.
Most obvious to viewers at home would have been the use of an unfamiliar set design which gave the show a different feel than usual.
Despite all the obstacles standing in WWE’s way, Raw aired as usual and provided a well-received night of action from the fans who made it to the Simmons Bank Arena.
The day after the show aired, Triple H took time to appreciate everyone who made the show possible in the face of adversity, posting a heartfelt statement directed to the WWE talent and crew on Twitter.
Triple H said:
I can’t say enough about the amazing job our talent, crew and staff did these last few days.
Through winter storms, blizzards and incredibly tough travel, they did what needed to be done to put on a show for the @WWEUniverse… which included completely redesigning #WWERaw on less than 24 hours’ notice.
They really are the best in the business. To put it simply, I couldn’t be more proud or grateful.
While the show was a great success all things considered, there was a cloud of worry coming out of it however, as World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins reportedly suffered a knee injury during his main event match with Jinder Mahal.
