WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has shared high praise for former SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan.
On WWE The Bump, Stratus told Morgan that she embodies everything the women from her era of WWE worked to achieve.
Highlighting Morgan’s dedication, Stratus said:
“I think Liv – I mean, gosh, you embody everything that we worked to do. You went out there with the hard work, the dedication, the passion, following your dreams, and really just doing it.
“I loved watching your journey. I’m still sitting here so pleasantly surprised, not that it finally happened, but it was something like you stated, and you said that when you were a kid, that’s what you wanted to do.”
Stratus will be returning to the ring at WrestleMania 39, where she’s set to team with Lita and Becky Lynch to face Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY of Damage CTRL.
She returned to WWE TV on the February 27 edition of Raw, helping to neutralise Damage CTRL ahead of Lita & Lynch winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
