Bryan Danielson has been out of action for over a month after sustaining a concussion, something Dave Meltzer described last week as “very concerning” considering Danielson’s history of head injuries.
Danielson was forced into an early retirement in 2016 as a result of his injuries, but was cleared to wrestle again in 2018.
In an update to his original report, Dave Meltzer had more positive things to say about Danielson’s condition during an appearance on the Saturday Night’s Main Event podcast.
He said:
“What I can tell you is Bryan is fine but he’s not cleared to wrestle yet and Tony Khan is not going to rush him back.”
Fans are understandably concerned about Bryan Danielson given his history of head injuries, so it’s great to hear that he’s feeling fine.
We still don’t have any kind of indication that he’ll be returning to the ring any time soon, but once we do, we will of course let you know.
