AEW is once again having to move its TV show taping location due to developments caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
This past week, the promotion taped content for upcoming episodes of Dynamite and Dark at the Nightmare Factory in Norcross, Georgia.
That came after they had to move out of Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida as a nearby parking lot was being used as a major coronavirus testing centre.
The latest development is that AEW is now going to have to move its tapings out of the Nightmare Factory as the venue is being temporarily shut down following a shelter-in-place order by Governor Brian Kemp.
Kemp said (via Wrestling Inc):
“Finding out that this virus is now transmitting before people see signs, so what we’ve been telling people from directives from the CDC for weeks now that if you start feeling bad, stay home. Those individuals could’ve been infecting people before they ever felt bad, but we didn’t know that until the last 24 hours. And as Dr. [Kathleen] Toomey told me, this is a game changer for us.”
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, “a lot” of content is already in the can from this past week to fill up the next few weeks of shows.
