PWInsider has posted an update on the status of Angel Garza after the former NXT star seemingly suffered an injury during his match with Andrade and The Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Championship.
The site is reporting that Angel Garza injured his hip during the match. The common opinion online following the match was that Garza had hurt his knee. The site is also reporting that the injury might not be as serious as initially believed:
The belief among sources PWInsider.com has spoken with is that Angel Garza’s injury during tonight’s WWE Clash of Champions PPV was actually related to his hip, not his leg.
Garza will be getting checked out to confirm, but the belief is the injury may not be as serious as initially feared.
This is certainly good news, as many fans were worried that we could see Garza out of action for some time following his injury. At this time, there is no word on how long, if at all, Garza is expected to be out for.
The four men clearly rushed to the finish during last night’s tag team title match, and there is no word on what WWE had planned to be the conclusion of the match. For more on this story, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
