Update On Triple H’s Plans For Austin Theory Following Money In The Bank Controversy

Update On Triple H’s Plans For Austin Theory Following Money In The Bank Controversy WWE

There is a brand new update on Triple H’s plans for Austin Theory following the Money In The Bank controversy on Raw.

On the November 7 edition of WWE Raw, Austin Theory cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase for a shot at Seth Rollins’ United States Championship following an attack from Bobby Lashley.

However, Lashley got involved and cost Theory his chance to win before Rollins hit a Curb Stomp to retain the title.

This has led many fans to wonder what is next for Theory following his crushing defeat and the overall feeling that Triple H has given up on the upstart.

Ringside News reports that the feeling from those within WWE is that Austin Theory is better off with Triple H in charge than he was under Vince McMahon.

The report notes:

“We were assured by a writer with first-hand knowledge of this situation that, “Theory is better off today than he has been since Vince retired.” Last night’s episode of WWE RAW might have appeared as a device to write Austin Theory out of any storyline, but that is not the case.”

Producers backstage feel Theory is finally getting in position to succeed and is now in a feud with Raw’s top babyface in Seth Rollins as well as Bobby Lashley in the mix as well.

The report reads:

“Austin Theory is no longer Mr. Money in the Bank, but he was also in a difficult position with that briefcase, especially with Roman Reigns reigning supreme over the entire company. Now WWE can place Theory in a position where he needs to be.”

So the good news is that WWE still has plans to use Austin Theory moving forward despite how the failed cash-in made him look.

Theory is a former United States Champion and suffered a loss to the hands of Seth Rollins the week prior on the October 31 edition of Raw.

The former Mr. Money In The Bank lost the title to Bobby Lashley back at the Money In The Bank event in July. Lashley then lost the gold to Seth Rollins on the October 10 episode of Raw.
