Update On Plans For Potential Roman Reigns & CM Punk WWE Feud

Update On Plans For Potential Roman Reigns & CM Punk WWE Feud WWE/AEW

There has been an update on potential plans for a feud between Roman Reigns and CM Punk following his WWE return.

CM Punk made his return to WWE after almost a decade away at the end of this past weekend’s Survivor Series event in Chicago.

With Punk spending almost 10 years outside of the company, a lot has changed since he was last a part of the show, with many new potential matches for him.

One potential big money match available for Punk is a match with the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, who he has a lot of history with.

While Punk’s first feud seems to be locked in against Seth Rollins, per Sports Illustrated, there are plans for Punk to feud with Roman Reigns during his return run.

The article noted:

There are plans for Punk to feud with Roman Reigns, Sports Illustrated has learned. But it will not be Punk against Reigns first, as that spot belongs to Rollins. A feud between Rollins and Punk is a massive positive for both men. Punk can still wrestle at a high-level, but his work will only be enhanced in the ring with a world-class wrestler like Rollins. While it is not the current favorite, there is plenty of reason to believe Punk-Rollins could serve as the main event for the opening night of WrestleMania 40. For Rollins, that would simply not be the case without Punk.

More details on the backstage reaction to Punk at last night’s WWE Raw show has been revealed.
