Velveteen Dream Was Accused Of Smashing Car Window Last Year

It has come to light that Velveteen Dream had a run-in with the law last year. Fightful has revealed that they were sent an affidavit for the arrest of Patrick Clark (AKA Velveteen Dream) in late 2019. The case was later deemed not suitable for prosecution.

The following is the report of what happened from Fightful:

“A man named Edgar Rodriguez reported a criminal mischief to Orlando PD on November 30, 2019, stating that he parked his 2015 Infiniti QX70 on North Magnolia avenue. When he returned to the vehicle, he found his driver’s side window smashed, and the incident was caught on the building’s surveillance footage. The footage featured a black man in a pink shirt and dark colored pants approaching the vehicle, and motioning as if he was smashing the window, before riding off in a blue Ford Mustang.

On December 18, Rodriguez contacted an officer, saying he saw the same man in the same car in his parking garage. The man was identified as Velveteen Dream after a December 29 police lineup, and the Mustang’s license plate showed it was registered to Clark (Dream). The damage was stated to equal $1800 according to the warrant affidavit.”

An arrest warrant was issued for Clark but was recalled on February 11. Here is the statement issued:

COMES NOW the State of Florida, by and through the undersigned Assistant State Attorney and states that:

1. From the investigation which has been made, it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution.

2. This action is taken to clear the records and to release subject’s bond if any has been posted responsive to the above charge(s). If in custody, defendant should be released PROVIDED THERE ARE NO OTHER CHARGES OR HOLDS AGAINST HIM

Velveteen Dream was also accused of sending sexually graphic pictures to a minor today. He has denied the allegations on Twitter.
