With WrestleMania Backlash just days away, this was the final episode of WWE Raw before the show. As such, WWE made their final push to build interest in the pay per view. Now, the viewership figures have been revealed.
Showbuzz Daily reported the figures for this week’s Raw earlier today. The show garnered an average of 1.817 million viewers, which is down from last week. Last week’s show did an average of 1.872 million viewers, 55,000 more than this week’s show.
Showbuzz Daily also reported the ratings for the key 18-49 male demographic as well. The first two hours held steady at a 0.72 rating before dropping to a 0.67 rating for the final hour.
Little of note ended up happening on Raw as far as the build to WrestleMania Backlash was concerned. The only match that impacted the pay per view was between Damian Priest and John Morrison. Priest got the win and got to choose the stipulation for his match with The Miz on Sunday, making it a Lumberjack match.
Jinder Mahal also returned to the program, defeating Jeff Hardy. Also, Humberto Carrillo’s match with Sheamus had to be cut short due to injury but Carrillo will reportedly be okay.
