Recently Departed WWE Star Says Vince McMahon Was A ‘Cool Boss’ WWE

A recently departed WWE star has commented on her time in WWE and working with Vince McMahon, calling the 78-year-old a “cool boss.”

Lacey Evans, who departed WWE upon the expiration of her contract in August, recently appeared on a HighSpots Virtual Signing, where she answered questions from fans and gave comments regarding both her time in the company and how she’s enjoying life away from it.

Evans was asked where she plans on going now that she’s a free agent, to which she responded:

“Wherever the hell I want.”

Later in the signing Evans added to this further emphasising that she’s enjoying post-WWE life and the freedom it offers:

“As you all know, I get to do pretty much anything I want now. I have all the time in the world. I love to be at the cafe.”

Evans was asked by a fan why WWE never pushed her towards winning a world title while on the roster, to which she pointed towards a 2021 program with then Raw Women’s Champion Asuka that was cut short due to her becoming pregnant.

Despite not often being consistently used on WWE TV towards the latter stages of her time in the company, Evans was largely positive about her seven years in the company, saying:

“It was awesome. So much fun.”

Finally after Evans sneezed during the signing a fan made a comment regarding Vince McMahon’s apparent hatred of sneezing, which the 33-year-old hadn’t heard before, however it did lead to her giving her opinion on the now-TKO Executive Chairman, saying:

“I could see that. Vince McMahon was a cool boss.”

Since leaving WWE a month ago Evans has set up a FanTime page as well as opening her own cafe called the Sunny Summers Cafe.

Evans was the most recent WWE talent departure up until yesterday, September 21, when several talents were released from their contracts.
