What Happened After Money In The Bank 2021 Went Off Air?

WWE has posted a video of John Cena addressing the Money in the Bank crowd following his shocking return at the end of the eventful show.

During the pay-per-view, Roman Reigns defeated Edge to retain his Universal Championship. His celebrations were cut short by John Cena, who taunted the Tribal Chief to close the show.

In a video posted after the event, Cena soaked up the cheers, pointing out that he’s used to fans telling him he sucks. Announcing that his return was not a one-night-only deal, the 16-time World Champion admitted that he “really, really” missed WWE.

Here is the video:

Cena’s last match took place against The Fiend in the WrestleMania 36 Firefly Fun House bout. It was previously reported that Cena would return to wrestle Roman Reigns at SummerSlam on August 21.

At Money in the Bank, Big E and Nikki ASH won the men’s and women’s ladder matches respectively. Charlotte Flair was crowned the new Raw Women’s Champion after forcing Rhea Ripley to submit.

On the pre-show, The Usos defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio for the SmackDown Tag Team Title.
