Braun Strowman recently called in to Busted Open Radio, co-hosted by Dave LaGreca and former WWE superstar Mark Henry, to discuss a variety of topics. In the discussion, Strowman revealed that it was Henry who got him into WWE, stating:
“I traveled around the world doing strongman competitions, doing the Arnold Classic, World’s Strongest Man, North America’s Strongest Man, that stuff. That’s the first time I met Mark, back in 2010, the first year I competed at the Arnold Classic as an amateur. I went up and introduced myself to Mark and said I’ve always been a fan of his in WWE and what he’s done in the strength world. We kinda just sparked off a friendship from there and he pretty much turned WWE’s eyes on to me through the strongman career that I was having. Lo and behold, here we are today.”
