Following Tony Khan’s major announcement on AEW Dynamite, we now know the nature of AEW’s first UK show, the massively ambitious return of All In at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The show, which will mark AEW’s first event outside of North America, was announced by Khan to be taking place on Sunday, August 27, with general sale tickets available on May 5.
The event will not only be historic for AEW but also for Wembley Stadium, marking the first wrestling event in England’s national stadium since WWE Summerslam 1992 over 30 years ago.
While the news got UK fans buzzing, it seems a certain major British star may also have his eyes on an appearance at Wembley.
Taking to Twitter, NJPW’s Will Ospreay would cryptically post:
“Wembley aye?”
Ospreay and his United Empire faction have made numerous appearances on AEW TV since first appearing on AEW Dynamite back on June 8, 2022.
Fans have speculated that Ospreay could also be set for AEW’s Forbidden Door 2 event on June 25, so it could potentially be a busy summer for the former IWGP United States Champion.
