Women’s Title Match CONFIRMED For Extreme Rules

Women’s Title Match CONFIRMED For Extreme Rules

Following one of the shocks of the year, we find ourselves with a brand new Raw Women’s Champion.

Alexa Bliss won the Money in the Bank briefcase and cashed in the contract on the same night to pin Nia Jax.

So it’s all smiles and rainbows for Bliss…well, not quite, as Kurt Angle has confirmed Nia will be getting her rematch at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in July.

There has been a fair deal of criticism over this piece of booking by WWE, as it’s a feud we saw just two months ago, and it feels a bit soon for Alexa to be champion again.

You would think, given how WWE management seem to be huge fans of Bliss, that she will retain against Nia in order for her to start a programme with Ronda Rousey when she returns from her 30 day suspension.

A stipulation has not yet been announced, but given WWE’s lack of booking any ‘extreme’ matches on Extreme Rules in the last couple of years, it probably won’t have one.

Perhaps an inferno hell in a cell on a pole match?

Do you think it’s too soon to see this feud again? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter here.
