WrestleMania 37 Night 1 And 2 Matches Confirmed

WWE has revealed the nights that some WrestleMania 37 matches will take place, including Roman Reigns vs Edge for the Universal Championship.

With Fastlane 2021 in the books, WrestleMania 37 is right around the corner. Taking over the Raymond James Stadium on April 10 and 11, live fans will be in the building for this year’s Show of Shows.

WWE have now confirmed which night certain announced matches will take place. Drew McIntyre will challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship on night 1 of WrestleMania 37. Also on the April 10 card, Sasha Banks will defend the Smackdown Women’s Title against Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair.

Last night on Raw, it was confirmed that Bad Bunny will make his wrestling debut against The Miz at WrestleMania. This match will also take place on night 1.

Also on Raw, Rhea Ripley put forward a WrestleMania challenge to Raw Women’s Champion Asuka. This title match will go down on night 2 of WrestleMania 37. Also on April 11, Roman Reigns and Edge will do battle in a Universal Championship match.

WWE on Fox took to Twitter to summarise these announcements, tweeting:

Both nights look pretty even, with a world title and women’s championship match apiece. Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman is yet to receive an official date, but will most likely join the April 11 card, as the April 10 night already features a “special attraction” in Bad Bunny’s singles debut.

It is currently not known which night The New Day will defend their Raw Tag Team Championship against AJ Styles and Omos.

Last night, Charlotte Flair confirmed that she had tested positive for COVID-19. You can read about that by clicking here.
