Wrestling World Reacts To MJF & Jon Moxley On AEW Dynamite AEW

As the fall out from AEW All Out continued on AEW Dynamite, the wrestling world began reacting to MJF and Jon Moxley’s epic promos.

After the show kicked off with Tony Khan (in a backstage segment) announcing that the AEW World Championship and the AEW World Trios Championships were vacated, without additional details provided.

Next MJF cut an extremely babyface promo to the delighted Buffalo crowd until Jon Moxley appeared, causing Friedman’s veil to slip, revealing himself to be the same old heel he always was.

After chasing off MJF, Mox cut a passionate promo about AEW and what the AEW World Championship means to him.

With the fast action, reactions poured in, including from some typically vocal detractors of AEW.

Eric Bischoff taking to Twitter to write:

“Definitely a great segment. @The_MJF has his work cut out for him. Fans want to love him. Punk proved him right.”

As well as respond to a Tweet from Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. that simply said “Mox” with a fist emoji, Bischoff wrote:

“He did a great job.”

Elsewhere, Mox’s own wife Renee Paquette (formerly Renee Young during her time as an interviewer and commentator in WWE) tweeted:

“I know I’m biased. But no one is better than @JonMoxley ❤️”

And also shared a photo of him on Instagram with the caption: “Husband appreciation post.”

Moxley’s promo was widely praised by the wrestling media community and fans on Twitter alike, many noting appreciation for his dedication to AEW.

AEW referee Bryce Remsburg saying:

“I would give Jon Moxley the keys to my car and my house if he wanted them. I would run into a volcano if he asked. No questions asked. #AEWDynamite”

WWE analyst Ryan Satin writing:

“Jon Moxley >”

And perhaps Aubrey Edwards, AEW referee put it best when she Tweeted:

“Moxley is the f*****g man #AEWDynamite”

AEW Dynamite hosted Mox’s Blackpool Combat Club brethren in two of the big matches of the night, with Bryan Danielson fighting to advance in the AEW World Championship tournament as well as Wheeler Yuta defending his ROH Pure Championship.
