
UPDATE: It has now been confirmed that WWE 2K22 will release in March 2022.
A new report has provided a big update on the upcoming WWE2K22 video game, noting that the title will most likely get delayed.
Fightful Select reports that a number of WWE talents were notified that WWE 2K22 will not release in 2021. It was noted that there is a possibility that the game’s release will be worked into WrestleMania season marketing.
The report pointed out that Take-Two Interactive had previously delayed several titles. Fightful reached out to Take-Two at the time, who indicated that they had now information to share about WWE 2K22.
The game was expected to be released during Q4 of 2021, although no specific date had been given.
WWE 2K had recently released screenshots from the upcoming game, featuring Edge. Fans were told to tune into SummerSlam to find out more about WWE 2K22.
