WWE Star Beats Former Tag Team Partner After Explosive Breakup WWE

After an explosive breakup, two former tag team partners came face-to-face in the ring on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.

While Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez may have been running together for months, their partnership completely dissolved after Vice eliminated Lopez in a big battle royal.

Later on an episode of Noam Dar’s chat show, the Super-Nova Sessions, Lola Vice revealed that she was glad to have rid herself of Elektra Lopez before the pair brawled.

Tonight they looked to settle their feud once and for all as Elektra Lopez is also involved in another main roster storyline.

Having made an appearance on this past week’s WWE SmackDown (January 26), Lopez rejoined Santos Escobar in his rebooted Legado del Fantasma along with Humberto and Angel.

Looking to wrap up their story however, Lopez and Lola Vice had an evenly paced match tonight where in the end, Lola Vice picked up the victory.

Vice is already the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament winner, leading her to have a contract for an NXT Women’s Title match that she can cash in anytime, much like the main roster counterpart the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The Men’s Breakout Tournament winner Oba Femi has already cashed in his contract and was able to capture gold, beating Dragon Lee for the NXT North American Championship.

Femi appeared earlier in the show, beating down LWO after their Dusty Cup semi-final loss which summoned Dragon Lee for a stare down.

Dragon Lee will challenge Oba Femi for the WWE NXT North American Championship at the upcoming NXT premium live event, Vengeance Day.
