WWE Star Issues Apology After Wearing Shirt Associated With Racism Allegations WWE

A current WWE star has broken his silence after facing a backlash in relation to a t-shirt recently worn on TV.

On the March 12 episode of WWE NXT, Brooks Jensen sported a t-shirt paying homage to original Four Horsemen member Ole Anderson, who had passed away on February 26, aged 81.

This led to pushback from some fans, due to documented allegations and accounts of racist behavior from Anderson.

A week later, Jensen has issued an apology for wearing the shirt.

In his statement, Jensen said he was unaware of such allegations against Anderson before deciding to wear the shirt on WWE TV:

Livin, learnin, and lovin – thanks guys

I will never support any racism, hate, or bullying. While I respected Ole for his wrestling it was news to me after wearing the tshirt that he was associated with these allegation’s.

Ive noticed my “looks” and where I’m from are frequently stigmatized with the underbelly of our society (i.e racists) but this mullet just likes to give love and party.

My apologies to anyone who knew the allegations prior and were offended by the shirt. I’m learning and this was noted.

Jensen is the son of former WWE star Bull Buchanan, and has worked in WWE since 2021 – his most recent televised bout came on the previously mentioned March 12 edition of NXT, in which he unsuccessfully challenged Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship.
