Former WWE Champion Interested In Training Celebrity For Match WWE

WWE star The Miz has commented on the possibility of another athlete making the transition to pro-wrestling, confirming he’d help them to become a wrestler.

With the likes of Logan Paul and Bad Bunny recently showing what celebrity wrestlers are capable of, there has been speculation about the next well-known name to wrestle for WWE.

In an interview with TMZ, The Miz was asked whether or not he thinks NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce could appear at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

Noting that he’d help to prepare Jason Kelce for a wrestling career, The Miz said:

“He could be very dangerous in a WWE ring – not only with just the athleticism and the part of the wrestling, which I think he can absolutely do.

“I watched him jump up at a Bills game from, like, down and jump up into a window, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this guy is 300 pounds, how did he do that? That’s incredible.'”

The Miz notably worked closely with Logan Paul during his early days with WWE, teaming with Paul during his in-ring debut to defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38.

The duo faced off in singles action at SummerSlam 2022, with Paul ultimately scoring a victory over the former WWE Champion.

Logan Paul currently holds the US Championship, defeating Rey Mysterio for the gold in November 2023.

He’ll put his title on the line in a three-way match at WrestleMania 40, against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.
