AEW’s Keith Lee has reacted to his former rival Dijak being called up to the main roster once again as the last WWE Draft pick.
The announcement of Dijak’s move to the red brand was made as a Digital Exclusive on WWE’s social media and can be seen below this news story.
A fan reflected on Dijak’s history with Keith Lee when they were both in WWE together, tweeting:
“Somewhere, @RealKeithLee is THRILLED for @DijakWWE getting drafted. I miss their fights together 😭”
The AEW star would react to the tweet with a message of support for Dijak, responding:
“I am thrilled for his fights no matter where they may be. He’s a specimen.”
Dijak and Keith Lee had a number of encounters in WWE starting in 2018 with NXT.
Their history goes back to their time on the independent circuit when Dijak was known as Donovan Dijak.
Dijak signed with WWE in 2017 and would be renamed Dominik Dijakovic in 2018.
A well-received run in NXT would see him moved to the main roster in late 2020 as part of Retribution under the name T-Bar.
The WWE Draft of 2021 would split up the stable, although Dijak would remain as T-Bar until his shift back to NXT in October 2022.
