Future WWE Opponent For Edge Revealed?

Two top WWE stars have engaged in an interesting exchange on Twitter that we can only hope leads to where they both want it to.

It all started when WWE shared a flashback tweet to Edge and the “Evil Ronald McDonald” that is Sheamus.

This would result in Sheamus retweeting the clip and adding:

“.. and here i am about to surpass this gingerist pretend viking. #ultimategrandslamchampion”

Edge wouldn’t stay silent on the subject, saying:

“Well right now I’m alone in The Hall of Won It All. I get lonely. Win that IC and we can have a chat Ronnie, whoops, Sheamo.

“Bout time we have a good old fashioned, grizzled 1 on 1 match.”

Sheamus is certainly up for the match, it seems, tweeting:

“Got one last banger in ya grandad? Don’t reach for the pipe & slippers just yet.. #therecanbeonlyone”

Edge made his return after a three-month hiatus at WWE Royal Rumble on January 28.

He would eliminate two members of Judgment Day, Finn Balor and Damian Priest, before being eliminated by Dominik Mysterio.

In addition to being part of The Brawling Brutes with Ridge Holland and Butch, Sheamus has also teamed with Drew McIntyre as part of the Banger Bros.

It was recently revealed that the team name has now been dropped.
